Kaleidoscope Students Paint for The Barrington Roundup Barrington Area United Way celebrated its 50th anniversary with a Summer art event called "The Barrington Roundup", a public art exhibition of hand-painted fiberglass horses were displayed throughout the Barrington area from June through September 2009.
Kaleidoscope School of Art was approached by the Barrington Area Ministerial Association (BAMA) to paint the horse that organization sponsored for the area-wide exhibit.
Kaleidoscope School of Art students, Jessica Rojas, Kate Brown, and Joel Jannetto collaborated on the colorfully painted colt (See Photos). It is covered with flying doves against a blue sky over a town skyline with lighted windows. A dove sculpture is also perched on top of the colt and contributes to the BAMA's theme: "Working together for the Glory of God and the common good".
